Medical translational research aims to “translate” findings in basic research into clinical practice in order to find better treatment for patients. It is based on a multidisciplinary approach and on collaboration between institutions.
To support the continuous efforts of academic clinical and translational research ETOP IBCSG Partners Foundation has established a series of translational research projects, either as sub-studies within our clinical trials or as independent molecular epidemiology projects, with the Lungscape project leading the way.
